install ni-visa scientific linux

hi,

i am not able to install ni-visa on SL6.

I get the following error:

Unpacking install files to /tmp/nivisa-5.3.0f0.install...

Hi,

I think that SL6 is not compatible with NI drivers.

Here you can check what Linux Distribution is supported by NI Drivers.

Try to look for the right Scientific Linux version. I think you need to downgrade to 5.6 at least.

Thanks for the attention Cla_cup, but probably this is not the solution. 

In the page you linked (which I already checked), between 5 and 6 there is a comma, not a point. So I can use both SL5 and SL6, not SL5.6! 😞
