3 wire RTD connections.

Need help taking a temperature measurement using a 100 Ohm 3-wire RTD on the myRIO.  I know that a wheatstone bridge in some shape or form is used, but I have no idea how to choose the resistors for that or where the wires on the circuit would actually hook to the myRIO ports.  If a sample VI for this hookup could be provided, that would be great.  I’m pretty new to how all of this works.  Got the myRIO for a class and am now trying to use it for side projects.

Hi Vocalict!

I would recommend taking a look at this discussion forum post:

RTD Temperature Measurements using LabView 2013 and MyRio

While this post specifically discusses 2-wire measurements, the information in the post should still be helpful.  I would also recommend checking out this tutorial:

Taking Temperature Measurements with RTDs: How-To Guide

This should help get you started!
